Is my Lovable app secure? 10 checks before launch

A Lovable app can look finished long before it is ready for real customer data. These checks help you find common problems without being a security engineer. Run them only on an app you own.

Protect customer data

• Create two test accounts, then try to open User A's records while signed in as User B.
• Check that every Supabase table has row-level security enabled.
• Confirm that private files aren't available from public storage links.

Protect secrets

• Search your browser code for words like secret, key and token.
• Keep private API keys on the server. Public anon keys are different, but they still depend on correct database rules.
• Replace any key that has been pasted into chat, a screenshot or a public repository.

Protect accounts

• Try opening private pages while signed out.
• Confirm admin pages are protected on the server, not just hidden in the menu.

Protect payments and costs

• Confirm access unlocks only after your server verifies the payment.
• Add login, rate limits and spending alerts to paid AI features.
